This unassuming stall hidden in the streets near beauty world mrt has one of the best mee pok noodle. The queue at this store is usually few person long, but clears up relatively fast.

The noodle that this stall is selling averages around $5, paired with other add on options as well. Mysterio ordered #5 : Special Meatball Noodle (Dry version). In addition, another takeaway #1: Minced meat noodle (Dry version) as well.

A first impression of the noodle looks kind of normal, the noodle covered in the black sauce, the meat ball in the bowl of soup with the meat sediments.

Taste wise: The noodle is soft and springy. A quick glance at this noodle which is indeed a handmade noodle made from scratch rather than the conventional yellow noodle. This resemble more of you mian and not the yellow noodle that has the starchy taste. The sauce that comes with it is mixed with fried shallots that gave it a nice fragrance aroma, pair perfectly well with the noodle.

Moving onto the soup, the soup taste rich and savory, you can tell that this soup base has been cooking all the pork meat in it for a long time. (Note that they cook lean pork meat, pig liver, meatballs in it. Usually, it's the pig liver that has the most flavor that comes with it)

The special meat is also indeed special, the center has another mini layer of addition meat filling, making this indeed a special meatball. Taste-wise is also exceptional, makes you keeps coming back for more.

For takeaway order, this mee pok also has the special meatball, pig liver, some minced meat and lean pork meat. The special highlight in this bowl of noodle is the pig liver. It is also worth noting that the pig liver is equally good and a must try. The only downside of this is that the portion size of the noodle is not very big, given that with inflation and stuff going around, this is more or less expected.
