Holland drive market and food Centre is bustling with people the moment you step in. A lot of stores are packed with people and it seems more like a breakfast and lunch place. And what caught Mysterio's eye is Ru Ji Kitchen.

Bak Chor Mee
Ru Ji's Bak Chor Mee ($5)

There are two size options available for this bak chor mee, mainly $4 or $5, and Mysterio went for the $5 option. The bak chor mee comes with the standard ingredients of minced meat, fish cake, mushrooms and fish ball, but the meat ball is handmade.

The noodle is mixed with vinegar and chili (can opt out) with the noodle being springy and QQ, paired with the vinegar like taste, a perfect match for bak chor mee.

The handmade meat ball is soft and well made, but doesnt have much taste other than its pork. Other ingredients in the bak chor mee is pretty standard and nothing quite outstanding.

Verdict:

Mysterio rate it 4/5 stars

The Bak Chor Mee in general is quite good, especially the handmade meat ball, which adds the uniqueness to it. The vinegar sauce with the mee pok is quite good and worth queueing for. The meat is quite soft but nothing unique or special that makes this stands out.
